Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (medium coat) Dog

ACD Sr Spatter the Dog needs a home

Please contact Monica R Larner ([email protected]), (989) 330-5147 for more information about this pet.

12-10-17 Spatter comes back into rescue, it seems due to certain individuals having something against this service dog. I do hope that the "manager" who started the campaign against her, complete with putting things in her file (except for this updated page) will put this in the file as well.

2-24-17 Spatter is Adopted, as a Service Dog.
My chickens, ducks and cats are still all accounted for.

2-11-17 Spatter returned to rescue, due to "supposedly" killing chickens and other small animals at the farm. She was not seen killing them, they were found dead and she was blamed. Fox, coyotes and raccoons had already been killing the chickens. Was told that they were penning them up, but they didn't follow through. Was fine with the large animals.

She returns being the still very lovable girl that she is. She is more subdued than before, and feel she was not all happy there.

10-22-16 Empty the Shelters Event. 5 years, 5 months, 29 days in rescue....

9-28-11 Spatter is HW NEGATIVE after her treatment.

Spatter's HW positive treatment, Immiticide, was given 6-12-11 and 6-13-11.

5-30-11 Spatter tested HW positive. She has been on a pre-treatment regimen.

5-23-11 Spatter is an adult female heeler who was surrendered today, due to not behaving at her new home after getting her off of Craigs List. Spatter expects to be in trouble, as you can see by her picture, she does not want to even look my way. Spatter was brought here on a baling twine, no collar, no leash, no love.

We were told that she is about 4 years old, has been spayed, and up to date on shots. Yet, there is no "proof" of any of these claims. Spatter had no training, no boundaries, and no routine. She "herded" the children, tried to herd the goats, tried to get into the chicken coop and chased (caught) a kitten in the yard.

Spatter seems to be voice correctable, which tells us that she can be worked with to make her a good dog.

Our adoption fee covers the spay / neutering, heart worm testing, rabies, distemper combo, microchipping and any other medical that a dog may need. Please consider a rescue that comes to you with all of the routine medical done.
